I’m very excited to share that the My Kids organisation we support via One Health has launched its latest booklet for the communities of Myanmar to teach families about basic household health and first aid using herbs that grow locally in their area.
MyKids is a wonderful Australian organisation that works in Myanmar to ensure that the abandoned children of Myanmar have adequate nutritious food, health, clothing and shelter, and can receive an education. These basic rights are denied to many children in Myanmar who find themselves on their own for reasons out of their control. They also work with families and communities to help teach them basic care for health and hygiene and encourage them to learn about the local herbs that can support them with this.
Through the Happy Herb Company’s partnership with One Health Organisation we provided MyKids with a grant to create this booklet that will be translated and distribute throughout the communities, and will assist them to identify local herbs that will help with ailments such as parasites and other bodily infections.
This is what The Happy Herb Company is all about, promoting the appreciation, information, benefits, culture, use and availability of all natural plants and herbs, and it gives me great joy to be supporting such a wonderful project.
